60th Strat Anniversary
Fender needed a big way to communicate the Stratocaster’s 60th Anniversary — as Fender’s lead website art director/designer, I was tasked with concepting, designing, and developing an interactive page for fans to engage with and learn about the Strat through the years.
I settled on a parallax website with the theme of “Past. Present. Future”. The user was able to scroll down the neck of the guitar as if they were on a timeline. To add an interactive and engaging element, the developers and I plugged Spotify into the page for a seamlessly playlist experience. Lastly, I introduced a live social streaming plug-in to connect our social audience to the website so everyone could get in on the conversation especially during the anniversary party event.
Fender MLB Partnership
In March 2014, Fender launched a baseball guitar in collaboration with MLB. MY writer partner and I concepted this site and I art directed the shoot, designed the feature page, and launched it on the brand website. Consumers could buy the guitar directly and learn about how America’s pastime could also include some old fashioned rock and roll!
