As the Digital Art Director responsible for the social media content, as well as email marketing design, the team and I created a social campaign during the World Cup called: #PartyPenalty cards.
Fans were able to choose from MGM’s photo gallery of red cards on Facebook and Tumblr and tag or share the cards with a friend who deserved to be called out. MGM posted cards on Instagram & Twitter as well. We also designed real-time cards when something notable happened during the games.
In addition to hosting a gallery of these penalty cards, we extended the campaign on property with printable cards for hotel guests and MGM employees. Guests were encouraged to take photos with their red cards and share them with friends.
